I am disabled entrepreneur specialising in disability advice support and education, which is fuelled by the frustrations and life experiences I have encountered. I am enabled by two disabilities and I feel that these empower me to make a difference within my community and across the UK for adults with long-term illness and disability.
I feel my views and expertise are valuable in my role as a trustee of Imagineer Foundation as it is important to involve the voices of adults with disabilities, in decisions that will impact upon their life and choices.
My university degrees are in information technology and I have additional knowledge of how to make online resources accessible for disabled people. My company, founded in 2016, is called www.disabilityroadmap.co.uk. My company’s motto is that ‘we aim to enable disabled people to access online positive resources and advice to encourage and support them to have a better quality of life.’
